Hello, my name is Cam Licolli, and I am the Knox Sports Marketing Spring Intern! I am a rising junior at the University of Tampa, graduating in the Winter of 2027. I’m majoring in Advertising and Public Relations with a double minor in Communications and Sport Management. On campus, I am a part of the Honors Program, the Delta Zeta sorority as their VP of Communications, the Paws club as their Vice President, and I work as a Spartan Ambassador! I love staying active on my campus and meeting people from all the different organizations I’m a part of! Originally, I’m from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where I grew up with my mom and three dogs!
Being from Philadelphia, my love for sports has been ingrained in me ever since I was little. I’ve always loved going to football and baseball games with my friends and family, celebrating the Eagles and Phillies! There’s no better feeling than the sense of camaraderie while being in the Lincoln Financial Field or Citizens Bank Park, celebrating with complete strangers!
Outside of sports, I love to hang out with my friends and family any time I can. I also love to stay active, whether that’s going on walks on Bayshore or attending a pilates or yoga class! Living in Florida, I also love going to the beach and hammocking in Plant Park, especially when it’s snowing ten inches at home. I also love to travel, and this past summer, I was able to travel to 8 states, including Illinois, Ohio, Maryland, Connecticut, and more! I hope to travel abroad this summer or next year as well!
After I graduate, I hope to continue working with sports to help progress and support their marketing initiatives. The dream would be to one day work in the football or baseball sector of sports, hopefully one day for the Eagles or Phillies! However, I’m also open to working in different industries as well outside of sports, as I love learning how marketing works differently with each one! I’m extremely grateful for all the opportunities the University of Tampa has given me to be able to achieve these goals, starting with this internship! I’m very excited to get started with Knox Sports Marketing, and begin to grow my professional career, as well as learn from everyone here!
