Meet Cade!
Hi, my name is Cade Cusmano, and I am the new Knox Sports summer intern. I just recently graduated from Florida State University Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and a minor in business management. I was recently accepted into FSU Graduate School to pursue my master’s degree in Sport Management. At Florida State I was a member of the fraternity Kappa Alpha. I also had the privilege of shadowing the Director of Development and Real Estate for Seminole Boosters. Last summer I had the opportunity to for the Link Jarrett FSU baseball camps over summer 2025.
A Love for Sports
I love going to as many sporting events as possible on campus with my friends. My favorite are football, basketball and baseball games. FSU has been a dream come true for me. I was raised a lifelong Seminoles fan as my entire family attended the school. Outside of FSU, I was born and raised here in Tampa. I have attended Rays, Lightning, and Bucs games for as long as I can remember. Attending sporting events in both Tampa and Tallahassee helped grow my passion for sports and turned me into a diehard Tampa and Seminoles fan. I grew up playing a variety of sports, but I stuck with baseball through high school. I even played some intramural softball at FSU. Out of all the games My favorite sporting event I attended was when FSU played LSU at the Ceasars Superdome in New Orleans! The Seminoles won 24-23.
Free Time
Outside of sports, I love being outside. In my free time I enjoy going to the beach or going out on the boat with friends. I also love visiting my house in North Carolina. I go hiking and golfing with my family. Traveling is also a big passion of mine. I was fortunate enough to study abroad in summer 2024. I stayed in Valencia, but I also had the opportunity to visit Prague, Morocco, Amsterdam, Madrid, Ibiza, and Mallorca. I’m hoping to take another international trip again soon.
Future Plans
After I finish my master's program, I hope to build a career in the sports industry. Potentially in marketing, real estate, facility/event management, or operations. My dream would be to work for the front office of any NFL franchise. But if I had to choose one, it would be the Buccaneers. I’m eager to get started here at Knox Sports and look forward to learning as much as possible about marketing and the organization.
